Last Friday I left work with the Queensland Government after nearly 7 years.
As part of my goodbye gifts, I was excited to receive this wonderful goodbye tree. It's a lovely hand drawn tree with leaves made up of finger print impressions from my former work mates. This very clever artwork was created by Fiona Stonell, a truly talented artist as well as dedicated public servant.
She also drew the lovely image on my card.
This was such a lovely and touching surprise and made saying goodbye much less painful.
